What a fun summer...It can't be over yet!

We have had so much fun this summer and I am really not ready for it to be over. We had several camping trips to Cedar mountain and had a blast. The kids loved fishing and riding 4 wheelers. I think their favorite part was roasting marshmallows. Grandma found a snake and caught it. Kennedy couldn't get enough of it.


He really couldn't hold it anymore so he just dropped his pants right there on the lake!


Lake Powell

We went to Lake Powell for a week and had a blast. We camped at Lone Rock beach with Aaron's family and played our hearts out!

We were calling Jackson our little fish because we couldn't keep him out of the water. He loved jumping in off the boat and every little cliff he could find. He wore himself out everyday! He really loved the tube but he didn't want a baby ride he wanted a crazy ride, he kept yelling at Grandpa to flip him off!


Kennedy just loved being on the beach and playing in the sand. She was scared to death of the tube and she really didn't like swimming out in the open water. The second she got on the boat she would fall asleep so we knew what to do when she got grouchy. She is such an easy going girl but she sure is scared of everything.


Grandpa Clark bought this tube and we had so much fun! We even convinced Grandma Clark and her sisters to ride it, that was VERY entertaining!

4th of July!!!!!

What Silly Girls..... Halle, Mallery, Brooklyn, Kennedy
I just love my sister and it was so much fun when she surprised us and showed up in Kanab.
The kids loved the parade.
They collected candy and even got sprayed by the fire trucks!


The adults entertained themselves playing Rock Band, actually most of us were addicted to it and couldn't stop playing. Luckily the kids had a brand new trampoline to entertain themselves.



We had so much fun this last week. All our family on both sides were in Kanab. Our cousin Sadie stayed with us for the week while her mom was at girls camp and the kids had so much fun playing. Everyone else showed up later in the week. We all went to the parade and watched fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa Clarks on the 4th.


We went to the sand caves and had lots of fun making sand jars out of all the different colors of sand. It was so much fun having everyone here and spending time together. We love you guys and can't wait to see you again.

More Spring Fun!

To continue our adventures, we spent the day in Zion with Aaron's sister Natalie and her family. The kids had a fun time hiking to the waterfalls and riding the tram. It was a fun day and we enjoyed spending time with our cousins.

We have been working in our yard like crazy and it is finally done!!!!! The house we live in burnt down a few years ago and was completely rebuilt but the yard was untouched. It has always been a beautiful yard but the grass was old and uneven and the fence was rotting so we have been working hard to fix it up. The fence looks great and it is so nice to have. We are looking forward to a lot of family play time this summer on our brand new sod, Yeah!

Spring Update... Where Have We Been?

We have been so busy these last few months, time just flew on by. I wanted to update everyone on what we have been up to. We went and stayed in Las Vegas at Grandma's for 2 weeks for swimming lessons. Jackson loved every minute of it and Kennedy thought she was being tortured (she more or less was!). Jackson made a lot of progress this year and swims like a little pro and Kennedy can flip to her back and get a breath and grab a wall to hold on for dear life, YEAH! A little comfort to Mom.

While we were there we went to the drag races with Grandma and Grandpa. It took Jackson a little while to warm up to the loud cars but Kennedy loved it the whole time. There was a car show and Kennedy found a car just her size, how cute!

We had such a fun time visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Las Vegas. We love you guys! I'll have to do my update in 2 parts so stay tuned :)!!

Jackson's Last Day of School

Jackson finished his first year of preschool. He had so much fun this year and he grew so much. His teacher was darling and helped Jacks out a lot. She was always so patient through his meltdowns:) The kids did a little program at the park on their last day. It was really cute and they got to show off everything they had been learning.
