He's Finally Here!

Walker Weston Clark (7lbs 11 oz 21.9 in)!!!! We had our new baby boy on Friday July 10. He wasn't actually due until the 24th of July but he wanted to meet us early. I went to my doctors appointment on Thursday and he hooked me up to a non stress test to monitor his movements and my contractions started getting stronger and stronger. The doc came in and said, "are you in labor?" "i think i might be!" He checked me again and I had gone from a 3 to a 4 in 45 minutes. It was moving pretty quickly so I went home and got my stuff and went to the hospital. He was born at 1:25 Friday morning. The labor was a little rough because we had to turn off my epidural during pushing (not something I want to experience again!) and I had to push longer than I wanted to. But he's here and he's healthy so we couldn't be happier.

Little T-ball man!

Jackson had so much fun his first year of T-ball.

He was pretty serious about practicing and making sure he ate healthy food before a game.

During one of his games he yelled to his coach that he ate apples and bananas so he could run fast!

He was so entertaining to watch because he was so easily sidetracked. He really liked talking to the kids running the bases from the other team but I think his favorite thing was drawing pictures in the dirt while he was in the outfield.

He is pretty sad that it's over but he's very excited to start swimming lessons. He is just getting too big!!!
Why do our precious little kids have to grow so quickly? I love you Jackson, you add so much fun to my life.

My baby girl is 3!

It really makes me sad that she is growing so fast, I just want her to stay little forever. She is such a sweet little thing and always makes us smile. She was so excited for her birthday and insisted for a month to have an Aurora party. She ended up having two parties and being spoiled rotten!

We did a party in Kanab with Grandma and Grandpa Clark, Ryan's family and Grandpa Hirschi. Then we did a dress up party in Vegas at Grandma Hirschi's with more of her cousins. Aunt Lindy is the cake queen in our family and was nice enough to help me make her a castle cake.

The only thing she would ever tell us she wanted for her birthday was Aurora! Aurora, Aurora, Aurora!!!!!

The kids were so cute all dressed up, we had lots of pretty princesses, a knight and a king and even a punk rocker!

I really think the highlight of her birthday was seeing her best buddy Mallery. These two are so cute together. They never stop talking and are in imaginary land most of the time. What silly little girls, I really hope they will be close friends all their lives.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY my sweet little teeny beans!

OOFITOL!

I'm so excited to bust out the sidewalk chalk again. It is finally getting warm enough to play outside! Jackson has been learning to write his letters and told me he wanted to write a word. He told me to say the letters he was writing (like he was teaching me). After repeating every letter he wrote, he said"now what does that spell?!" I said "OOFITOL" and he said (very enthusiasticly) "Yes that's right!!!!" What a silly kid. Kennedy had lots of fun making pictures, too.

We had an old blue trike that nobody rode anymore so yesterday we bought some pink spray paint and converted it to a princess ride. I had some little vinyl stickers to put on and now Kennedy thinks it is the best bike ever!
The kids have been riding bikes for hours everyday. What a nice break for mommy.

Crazy Boys!

I know this is really old but I just had to post these pictures of our brilliant husbands. My brother, Kyle and his family came to visit a while ago and we decided to go on a hike to some Indian ruins. When we got up there we realized there was still way too much snow for hiking but the boys just couldn't resist. IT WAS PLAYTIME!!!! First to get stuck was Aaron.

We tried to go up a hill and got stuck halfway. Kyle came to the rescue. Then the boys wanted to see if Kyle's truck could make it to the top of the sand hill.

They really are little boys at heart. Fun times! Kyle started goofing off and well as you can see he was really stuck.

Ryan hopped in Aaron's truck to pull him out and then got it stuck too. Two down, one more to go. Ryan's truck was the only one still moving and somehow we managed to get all three trucks home (several hours later.) What an exciting day for a hike!!!

We have had a great month!

Sorry, I know it's been a while and a lot has happened. We moved into our new house and got all settled right before the holidays and then it hit me and I was down for the count. WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!! We couldn't be more excited and now that I am getting over the sickness, it's really sinking in. We told the family on Christmas eve and it was so fun to finally be able to keep it a secret for a while (I was always too sick before.) We had a great Christmas and it started out at the Houstons for our family party. The kids loved the nativity and they looked so cute, as usual.

Jackson didn't want to be a shepherd because he just wanted to be a donkey. Aunt Molly quickly made him some ears and he walked around saying "hee haw." What a silly kid.

Kennedy was more than happy to be an angel.

Christmas morning Aaron's family came over and watched the kids open their presents (we slept a lot later than they did.) Then it was off to Uncle Butch's for the most delicious breakfast ever. We had so much fun spending time with Aaron's family, even his baby sister Hayle and her husband, Courtney, got to fly out from North Carolina. It was so nice to spend time with them. Courtney is in the marines and will be going on his second deployment in March. We love you
guys and can't wait to get together again!
